Abiodun graduated from University of Lagos, Akoka, Lagos,  in 1990 and worked as Assistant Director of Writers’ Resort, Ijoko Ota, Ogun State, from 1992 – 1995.

He started a publishing outfit, Total Communications Ventures in 1996 and other companies subsequently.

He is a Member of Chartered Insurance Institute of Nigeria (CIIN), and holds the Certificate and Diploma of the Institute.
